I have a couple questions about run bedpost with multiple processors
1) On your website it says
FSLMACHINELIST: a list of machines on which bedpost should be run. Each
machine can be included more than once to make use of multiple processor
machines.
- Do I have to include my local machine?
i.e. If I'm logged into A and I want to run bedpost on A and B, do I have to
put MACHINELIST="A B" or MACHINELIST="B"?
2) What some of the permissions etc pitfalls that I could be encountering.
I'm getting these messages when I try to run it:
-----
copying files to bedpost directory
processing data on hosts: epoch
touch: creating
`/home/dmorris/data/dti/me/F6.bedpost/logs/pid_32103/epoch.sickkids.ca_fdt_16569':
Permission denied
/usr/local/fsl/bin/bedpost_proc: line 88:
/home/dmorris/data/dti/me/F6.bedpost/logs/.0000: No such file or directory
cat: /home/dmorris/data/dti/me/F6.bedpost/logs/.0000: No such file or directory
/usr/local/fsl/bin/bedpost_proc: line 90: [: epoch.sickkids.ca_16569: unary
operator expected
---
epoch is the remote machine
I have set up mounts and symbolic links so that the local directory
(/home/dmorris/data...) is also a legitimate directory on the remote machine
Any insights would be good to have.
