Hi Marc,
Thanks for asking! The thesis is a topic
that I'm certainly interested in. However, my
french is much rustier than my Central Asian
geology. How much of a problem will that be? I
asume the thesis is in english (yes?), but I'm
more worried about the defense. I don't want to
embarrass him by asking a really stupid question
because I didn't understand something. What do
you think?
As far as schedule goes, in late November and
early December I should be free. EXCEPT that I
teach on Wednesday mornings, so please not then.
I will go to AGU, so if the date slips into mid
December it would be a problem for me.
Otherwise, I'm happy to participate!
Have fun in china!!
cheers,
ed
