Associate Director,  Economics Network of the HE Academy

Based at the Institute for Learning and Research Technology (ILRT), the 
Economics Network is one of 24 Subject Centres of the national Higher 
Education Academy.  The Associate Director will provide strategic 
leadership, direction and coordination for the Network, alongside the 
Director.

The successful candidate will be an academic economist based in a UK higher 
education institution. They will be an experienced HE teacher of economics 
and will have considerable knowledge of developments in learning and 
teaching in higher education economics and also experience in implementing 
and disseminating examples of effective practices.

This is a seconded post, with the person remaining based in their employing 
institution. They would, however, be expected to attend monthly team 
meetings in Bristol and to facilitate or attend other meetings and events 
in various parts of the UK as necessary.
