Nottingham Trent University, Bonington Lecture Theatre, April 21st 2006
Location, Location, Location is a symposium, hosted by Nottingham Trent University, addressing the issue of context in contemporary art practice, looking at issues of funding, art markets and diverse audiences. The symposium will comprise of a series of short presentations from invited panellists whose own activities suggest a range of approaches to cultural activity beyond the gallery space. The presentations will be followed by plenary sessions, and the day will conclude with the opening of the British Art Show in Nottingham.
The symposium proceedings will be broadcast, in an edited form, on Resonance FM on air in London, and worldwide on the internet at: www.resonancefm.com
