Peter,
sorry, I was referring to the possibility of reproducing
the digital with absolutely no loss as mentioned in earlier
in the message. Digital information becomes like something
referred to by a word -- whereas physical drawings are more
like words. Perhaps someone who has a better grasp of semiotics
than I do could show how to say this properly?
