At the London conference we will be examining how the pattern of learner
accreditation and qualifications for the Learning and Skills Sector is
changing with the introduction of the new Framework and 14-19 Specialised
Diplomas. e-Assessment will play a key role in ensuring that these
developments are accessible to as wide a range of learners as possible.
This conference will look at some of the latest developments in e-Assessment
for the Learning and Skills Sector and how they may be used in the future to
support the changing qualification landscape.
The Dublin conference will examine the use of information communications and
technology to measure skills, competencies, knowledge and understanding in
the workplace, in the vocational and professional arena and in the
classroom. It will include a workshop session lead by Dr Paul Jones of
Thomson Prometric, and the European Prometric team. This session on ‘The
Science and Art of Exam Development' is a workshop with the goal of
demonstrating the value and importance of Qualified and Structured
Psychometric Process in the development of new and existing test programs.
This an exciting and challenging time for anyone involved in e-learning,
training and staff development with rapid developments in I.T., computer
assisted assessment, e-learning and training. This one day conference is
chaired by Dudley Dolan from Trinity College with an impressive line up of
speakers from Industry and Education.
