For me the most useful information on compiler options would be a table
showing what equivalent or near-equivalent options are across compilers.
This could be collected in a spreadsheet and/or CSV file. For detailed
information I would consult the compiler documentation, once I know what
the name of the option is. Below are some options that I have seen on more
than one compiler. Some of them should not be used generallly but can be
useful in debugging. I suggest adding g95 to your list of compilers.
specify the standard used
specify fixed or free source form
compile-only (for syntax checking)
turn on or off all optimizations
specify name of output file
specify directory of module (.mod) files
set default reals to double precision
set default integers to 8 bytes
initialize uninitialized variables to specified values
