Two Funded PhD Studentships
The Centre for Excellence in Teaching & Learning through Design and the
Higher Education Academy Art Design Media Subject Centre are co-funding
two PhD studentships to research aspects of design learning within museums
and archival centres. The key focus of both awards will be to articulate
and advance pedagogy in these fields. It is anticipated that one of these
two studentships will be located in the V&A and examine aspects of
innovative personalised learning, new technologies and the use of museum
collections. The second studentship will explore innovative means to
utilise and develop design and architectural education through archival
collections, including RIBA's, and design/ architecturally-related
artefacts.
