Hi All,
Many thanks for all the responses to my previous posting on ordinal
regression in Winbugs.
I have a follow up question regarding prediction w.r.t. this type of model.
Recap: I have n observed y (an ordered categorical response) and predictors
x1 and x2 to which I have fitted a random effects proportional odds logistic
model (ala Bones and Inhaler examples or the mental impairment example in
Agresti pg 279++).
I now have m new observations x1.new and x2.new and would like to predict
y.new.pred.
What is the best way to do this in Winbugs?
I guess more generally this question would refer to prediciton in any kind
of regression with a random effects component.
Regards,
Richard.

nothing in detail.
