I think - I hope - that there is a stream / trickle of people who make their
way to the list - people who know a lot about poetry or who are just finding
out -
& that, maybe more so for the huge geographical areas were there is not a
reading series or public workshop sympathetic to what they want / might try
to do, where you can meet other people also writing & spark off them, then
the list provides a sort of ongoing - stuttering - conversation
after all, Dryden's Essay of Dramatic Poesy is a conversation, but so is
Cervantes' Dialogue of the Dogs.
