Dear All,
I'm looking into changing our default Bbd course design with the aim of changing behaviour in terms of how academics use it. An observation is we currently use Bbd as a content repository, and I'm wondering is this to do with the course design (as most instructors don't change it), our staff development programme which might over emphasise e-administration while re-enforcing certain ways of using it, or the actual demand at this traditional face to face teaching institution. (I'd expect a bit of
all three).
I'm wondering, has anyone else found that through a redesign of the default course this has changed the way that academics use the course, in particular from a content repository towards more of a online community? If so, what did you do and why? Could you send me a screenshot of your default course design?
My new proposed course design plus the current one can been seen at ... <http://www.ltss.bris.ac.uk/ole/Bbd7_0/default_course_design/page1.html>
Any experiences would be greatly appreciated ;-)
Cheers
Andy
