Logic seems to suggest that it's analagous to real group working - you
wouldn't want (or, indeed be able) to moderate students when they have
taken themselves off to the four points of the compass to work on a
project in their own groups. Unless they're in the pub, in which case,
you might need to moderate the quality of the liquid interchange.....

Dear all,
I am having a little difficulty with the private virtual classroom
(VCR)
and not sure if I have misunderstood something.
When students enter the normal VCR then I can change them from active
to
inactive users and assign privileges to each role. Yet when students
enter the private group VCR they all seem to enter with moderator
privileges which means I, as a tutor, cannot restrict usage.
Am I missing a simple setting or is it 'designed' this way?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards
Dan
