John Thelwall restoration project and conference update
Dear all,
Thelwall's grave
Many thanks to all of you who have contributed either financially or in
spirit to the Regional History Centre's appeal for help in restoring
John Thelwall's memorial headstone at Bath. We now have sufficient funds
to commission the work, and the restoration is scheduled for completion
sometime in August.
Thelwall conference
I'd also like to remind you that the call for papers for the conference
(Bath Royal Literary & Scientific Institution, January 13th 2007) is
still active but we have a deadline approaching for proposals at the end
of this month. If you haven't yet sent a proposal, and would like to but
are unlikely to make the deadline, could you drop us a line to let me
know? We can offer an extension as long as we know it's on the way!
The CFP will still be found on the RHC webpages at
http://humanities.uwe.ac.uk/regionhistory/rhcnew/futurecon.htm
If you have any queries about any of this, please mail me back!
very best wishes
Steve
