Subject: Amplifier / hearing aid with head-set output option
It sounds as if this request is for something like the old "Easi Com"
amplifer/hearing aid - but perhaps with a lighter-weight headset? Any
ideas? (I understood that the Easi Com was now being supplied by QED but
couldn't see it in the on-line catalogue).
In the meantime, we have also suggested the SLT contact the RNID for advice.
Query posted on behalf of Karen Lewis, Communicate:
"SLT has a client who requires amplification (any type of microphone
arrangement). He currently uses a Magtacta Amp where the speakers are
held up to the listeners ears. His wife has a hearing loss (currently
pursuing hearing aids) and wondered if there was anything where she could
have speakers on a headset directly into her ears."
Best wishes,
Liz Panton
