Very unlikely I would think.
However, there are editing tools that programmers use, some of which
are very adaptable/flexible. These often have their own version of
word prediction - where the programmer can type part of a word, then
click tab, and this will either complete the word, or present the
options. So you might be able to do something with these.
A good IDE for Java is Eclipse (has lots of plugins - may have what
you need). Might be worth talking to the college and asking them what
they recommend.
