British Library helps millions of people research every aspect of the
world’s knowledge, through our website, reading rooms, information services
and exhibition galleries.
As our resident expert on records management, you’ll provide specialist
advice and assistance to BL staff based at Boston Spa. Responsible for the
day-to-day running of our Records Centre, you’ll also make sure all our
semi-current records are managed effectively and efficiently and are
accessible to staff. Whether you’re developing new procedures, maintaining
our database or helping us develop electronic storage methods, you’ll
ensure a cost-effective service that meets the individual needs of each and
every customer.
You will have a post-graduate qualification in records and/or archives
management and excellent communication skills which you will need to
influence people at all levels. Full of initiative, as well as having good
teamwork skills, you’ll help drive forward the development of one of the
world’s most famous Libraries.
