Hall-Carpenter Archives 1967 and All That project (Heritage Lottery Funded project)
Part Time Assistant Archivist
17.5 hours per week, 12 months fixed term
Salary: £28,186 - £34,123 pa (pro rata)

The Library at LSE is home to the Hall-Carpenter Archives, the largest archive of LGBT activism in the UK, documenting the history of LGBT campaigning and in the 20th century. 1967 and All That will bring LGBT history to a wider audience through a programme of cataloguing, exhibition work and outreach. The project is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and organised in partnership with the Lesbian and Gay Newsmedia Archive, based at Middlesex University.
The 1967 and All That project is seeking an archivist to listing and prepare for inclusion on A2A four archives, and to support an active programme of outreach and promotion, including a touring exhibition. The archivist will also work with LAGNA on a project volunteer programme.
You should have a professional archive qualification and an interest in the development of new audiences for archive collections.
