Just a reminder that JEE is an open-access journal with articles
freely available to all. It launched a year ago and has published 42
papers, some of distinct interest to archaeobotanists:
http://www.ethnobiomed.com/home/
JEE complements journals such as Economic Botany, Journal of
Ethnopharmacology, and Genetic Resources and Crop Evolution,
and has similar coverage. Online publication removes printing
restrictions on length/number of illustrations.
Submission of articles is usually free to authors in developing
countries, and to staff/students at Biomed member institutions
elsewhere (many universities). The article processing charge of 600
euro is obviously a disincentive for others.
