Dear Koen,
we found cuticle fragments of the leaves dated to 8220-7749 B.C. (but
not yet other remains as charcoal) at the mesolithic site Friesack IV
(north-eastern Germany), reference: Wolters et al. 2005, Veget Hist
Archaeobot 14/4:518-527.
