I did some work on Byzantine plant remains in Agios Mamas,
Chalkidike (northeastern Greece). It is published: H. Kroll,
Byzantinischer Roggen von Agios Mamas, Chalkidike. Byzantinische
Zeitschrift 92, 1999, 474-478. - I can send a photo copy.
Rye, bread wheat, barley, chickpea, broad been (var. equina!) and
so on.
