RESEARCH STATISTICIAN IN HIV/AIDS
Applications are invited for the position of research assistant in medical
statistics within the HIV Epidemiology & Biostatistics Group in the
Department of Primary Care and Population Sciences. The post is for three
years and involves responsibility for statistical analysis and some data
management of studies of people with HIV infection. These are mainly
large clinic-based cohort studies. Applicants should have a good first
degree (involving a strong mathematical content) with an MSc in Medical
Statistics or equivalent, and knowledge of the statistical package SAS.
We shall also accept applications from students expecting to complete
their MSc in Medical Statistics this summer. Excellent written/spoken
English and communication skills are also essential.
Salary is on the University Research Scale 23, £23,282 (including London
Weighting of £2440) and this post is available immediately. Please
