An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate in Statistics within the Department of Department of Infectious Diseases Epidemiology based at St Mary's campus Paddington.
You will join the EU-funded GENE-RAD-RISK project, investigating early age radiation exposures and the impact of genotype on breast cancer risk. You will devise and fit statistical models to data from breast cancer cases to explore interactions between radiation dose received and genotype.
You will have a PhD in Statistics or a related quantitative subject and will have experience of writing code in a high-level language such as FORTRAN or C/C++ and be able to interact with other European researchers to obtain data.
The post is full time and is available for one year in the first instance.
