and transplantation and a market leader in virology. My client has a Center
for Medical Genomics that supports the preclinical and clinical development
of new medicines for innovative biotechnological applications.
Role:
Within interdisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for the statistical
analysis and reporting of various exploratory clinical and non-clinical
projects based on genetic, genomic and proteomic experiments. You will
collaborate on the design of experiments and define the appropriate analysis
strategy.
You will contribute to the development and implementation of exploratory
statistical methodologies.
Experience / Qualifications needed:
You have a PhD in Biostatistics with at least three years of postdoc or
equivalent work experience.
You have a strong background in the statistical analysis of genetic, genomic
and proteomic data, and you are familiar with multivariate data analyses.
You have relevant experience in clinical research/epidemiology.
You are familiar with statistical packages applied to genomic data, such as
the BioConductor packages, and with programming in object-oriented
languages.
You are fluent in English (written and spoken).
You are willing to take responsibility and accountability.
You are also able to provide clear documentation and enjoy team work.
