Dear All,
I have a technical question in Survival analysis which
is as follows. I would be grateful for any comments.
I am working on measures of explained variation (a
statistic similar to R-squared in linear regression)
in survival analysis. Various measure defined in the
context of the Cox proportional hazards regression. I
am trying to generalise these measure to more flexible
models (generalised survival models).
Now the question is:
Some of the proposed measures are based on the
Schoenfeld residual. I was wondering whether there is
similar residuals or even concept in other survival
models. If no, is it feasible to define something
similar for models other than the Cox model?
Any comment or references is very much appreciated.
