The Graduate Training Programme is a joint venture supported by the
Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and the Royal
Statistical Society. The purpose of the programme is to strengthen the
mathematical foundations of tomorrow's statistical researchers and is
aimed primarily at first- and second-year doctoral students. It runs
week-long residential courses, each consisting of two modules, given
concurrently.
During 2006 two courses will take place:
June 25-30 Queen Mary London The theory of designed
experiments' and Statistical methods for financial risk modelling
September 17-22 University of Lancaster Event history methodology and
Wavelet methods for time series analysis
