Satellite Meeting IBC 2006:
Statistical and Epidemiological Methods
for Oral Health Research
Montreal, 14-15 July 2006
The Satellite Meeting wants to attract statisticians active in oral
health research or oral health researchers with a good background and
a strong interest in biostatistical methods. The meeting is of
interest to all who are interested in modeling complex data in an
appropriate manner. The program consists of the following five
tutorials:
Analysis of Clustered Data
(Melissa Begg, Columbia, US)
Survival Analysis in Oral Health Data
Niels Keiding (Copenhagen, Denmark) and Thomas Gerds (Freiburg,
Germany)
Disentangling Age, Period and Cohort Effects in Studies of the
Elderly?
Gary Slade (Adelaide, Australia)
Measurement Error and Misclassification: Effect, Assessment and
Correction
Helmut Küchenhoff (Munich, Germany)
Statistical Genetics for Dental Researchers: Genetic Association
Studies
Amy Anderson (North Carolina, US)
We are confident that this meeting will also intensify the
collaboration between oral health researchers and statisticians.
