JOB TITLE: Statistical Customer Support Consultant
DEPARTMENT: Customer Support (part of Professional Services)
LOCATION: Marlow
Main Purpose:
To provide the highest quality support services to all current and potential SAS customers so that they can fully exploit their investment in the SAS System in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
The range of activities documented in this section will vary according to the level of skill, experience and technical expertise of the Customer Support Consultant.
1. Provide support for SAS customers throughout the UK and Ireland working within the defined Customer Support procedures.
2. Conduct, either solely or with another consultant, public training courses to pre-defined formats and standards.
3. Occasionally perform defined consultancy for current and prospective customers to agreed timescales, budgets and standards.
4. Occasionally carry out presentations to current and prospective customers to help sell or increase the usage of SAS products.
5. Provide technical advice and expertise internally.
6. Ensure specialist knowledge is disseminated within the department in an appropriate and timely way.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Essential:
* Statistics Degree
* Statistics and Data Mining Experience
* Computer literate
* Technical awareness
* Strong Interpersonal skills
Desirable
* Pharmaceutical Industry knowledge
* SAS experience
* Support experience
