Position:       PK/PD Modeling and Simulation Scientist
 
Primary Purpose of Position 
 
The position carries with it a number of responsibilities and
accountabilities, they include:
 
- Making contributions to modeling and simulation methodology to the
development of new clinical approaches and
protocols from a PK/PD perspective.
 
- Ensure that information is shared/delivered to improve study and
compound success
 
- Ensuring regulatory compliance by the provision of analyses on study
data (PK/PD).
 
 - Making sure that our client methods remain "state-of-the-art" whilst
adhering to new guidelines as well as alignment of systems
and processes to internal and external standards, globally.
 
- Ensuring that software tools in modeling and simulation are kept
up-to-date and that all systems are appropriately
validated.
 
 
Education
 
- Scientific/mathematical degree
- Fluent english speaker
- Knowledge of PK/PD software (WINONLIN, NONMEM etc) for modeling and
simulation purposes
- Exposure to PopPK would be advantageous
 
 
Industry-specific knowledge
 
- Knowledge of pharma R&D, or previous experience in CRO or Biotech
- Knowledge of relevant statistical and mathematical methods
- Holistic understanding of the drug development process
