Hi
For the UK you might want to try the large ongoing surveys, such as the
National Readership Survey, Labour Force Survey, the General Household
survey, the British crime survey.
Thanks

Subject: QUERY: Updating census data
Dear All
I am involved in a project which tries to find a solution for updating
census data using registered statistics. The problem is that in many
countries census is carried out every ten years or so. We are
searching for a possible way to update some of the important census
data, during the years between two consecutive censuses, by data
recorded at some organizations such as insurance companies, post
offices, ID or driving license issuing centers, education departments,
etc. Usually the organizations have different data structure.
Any references, experience, ... in this issue are most welcome. Email
to me please, I will try to summarise to the list.
Many thanks
Yadollah
