The study involves investigation of the genetic heterogeneity of GlaxoSmithKline population genetic collections, in order to measure levels of genetic heterogeneity within and between Caucasian populations; develop statistical methods taking heterogeneity into account; and investigate methods for optimal use of controls.
You should have a PhD in statistical genetics or a related field, and experience of data analysis using statistical software within statistical research projects. Currently funds are available for an appointment of 15 months, but further extension may be possible.
