A short-term vacancy as a statistician is available from March 2006 within
the Department of HIV and Genitourinary Medicine, for approximately 4
months in the first instance. The appointed person will work mainly on the
analysis of data from a large Medical Research Council sponsored project on
HIV transmission in the black Caribbean community in South London, but also
participate in other ongoing studies in the department. Candidates should
have considerable experience in using STATA, and have practical experience
in medical statistics and epidemiology. Salary will be in the range of
£22,863 to £34,989 (inclusive of £2,323 London Allowance) depending on age
and experience.
