TITLE: 2 x SAS programmers (1 year contracts)
ROLE: Working for one of the worlds premier pharmaceutical companies, you
will as a member of a drug project team, assist the Global / Regional drug
Programming Leader to deliver high quality SAS databases, tables, listings
and graphical reports to the project team. This output is used to support
regulatory submissions, publications and commercial activities.
REQUIREMENTS: Essential; 2 years+ SAS programming in a clinical environment,
SAS/base, SAS/macro, PROC/Report, the ability to work as part of a clinical
project study team & good GCP knowledge.
Base: Particularly basic data step manipulation, SAS dataset creation,
variable derivation and use of base procedures etc.
Reporting: Tabulate, Print, Report, Graph procedures
Statistics: Good skills with basic statistical summaries like Summary, Freq
etc. Some skills with more formal statistical procedures such as GLM would
be useful but is not essential.
Macro: Basic use of macro preferred but advanced use is not essential.
DUTIES: The job involves close project working with all members of a team
particularly Statisticians for whom the programmer develops the analysis
databases. The programmers also take an active part in protocol and CRF
review. They are also responsible for the specification of the tables and
listings template shells and the analysis data sets. All programming work is
performed to company standard / developed GCP documentation standards.
* Development of SAS programs that create SAS analysis data sets from
raw database files for use in further formal statistical analysis and
general clinical trial or high level document reports.
* Development of SAS programs that create output tabulations, listings
and figures used in clinical trial, high level documents, or publication
reports.
* Working as part of a programming team within drug project areas.
LOCATION: North West, UK
CONTRACT LENGTH: 1 year rolling contracts
START DATE: ASAP, but they will wait for notice / contract end.
RATE: £Excellent / day - Dependant on experience
