Please find below details pertaining to the course "Essential methods in
Biostatistics and Epidemiology" which is to be held in Melbourne from 24
- 26 May 2006.
This three day course aims to build an up-to-date understanding of the
statistical principles and methodologies that can be used in
biostatistics, epidemiology, public health and medical research. The
course will offer all the necessary tools for designing epidemiological
studies, analysing data from such studies and interpreting the results.
The chief theme will be the study of the relationship between risk
factor exposures and the development of diseases in the human
population.
