Statistical simulation based analysis of spatial-temporal 3D
fluorescent data. Job Ref 53124-115.
Warwick Systems Biology Centre, UK.
Post-doctoral research associate (3 1/2 years fixed term)
A 3 1/2 yr PDRA position is available developing algorithms for
analysis of spatial-temporal data, specifically 2D and 3D fluorescent
image data in the redistribution of molecules on the surface of cells
in cell:cell contacts. The project is interdisciplinary, working with 2
experimental teams in Oxford and Imperial, and with mathematicians and
statisticians in Warwick. The post will involve primarily algorithm
development for statistical simulation, eg Markov chain Monte Carlo
methods, and data analysis (including hypothesis testing and model
development).
