Senior Biostatistician

The function:
He/she will work as a member of an international multi-disciplinary team
with biostatisticians, SAS programmers, data managers, medical writers and
physicians in clinical projects.
In this function, the Biostatistician:
* Will be responsible for the statistical support to several Phase II –
III clinical trials within the field of CNS (epilepsy, neuropathic pain ...).
* Participates to the protocol development, randomization set-up,
prepares the statistical analysis plan, performs the statistical analysis
in collaboration with SAS programmers and reports the statistical results.
* Supervises and assists other Biostatisticians and follows up on the
status of statistical activities within their project.
* Understands the regulatory requirements with respect to design and
analysis of trials in his/her project.
* Manages/analyses the pooling of safety and efficacy data for
Regulatory Authority submissions.
The profile:
· MSc or PhD in Biostatistics with at least 5 years relevant
experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
· Experience in clinical trials, preferably Phase II - III.
· Good knowledge of SAS. Experience with sample size software.
· Sound knowledge of statistical methodology.
· Sound knowledge of ICH guidelines. Understanding of the
regulatory requirements and the submission process.
· Accurate, keen learner, flexible, team player
· Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
