Dear all,
just a question:
partial eta square in ANOVA is equivalent to effect size correlation? There are any algorithm to convert partial eta square to Cohen effect size d?
I think if partial eta square is the correlation between the effect and the dependent variable, in the case of a independent variable wiht two levels, the square root of partial eta square is equivalent to Rosenthal and Rubin "r" efect size correlation.
So if a can convert partial eta square to r, I can also convert r to Cohen d effect size.
Correct?
thanks
Jose.
