Bayesian Methods in Metabonomics

Applications are invited for a 4-year PhD studentship funded by the
Medical Research Council
commencing October 2006 under the joint supervision of Dr David Stephens
(Department of Mathematics),
Dr Maria De Iorio (Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Public
Health) and Dr Tim Ebbels
(Computational Bioinformatics, Division of Biomedical Science) in the
field of statistical analysis
of metabonomics data. The studentship is part of the Capacity Building
Area Studentship Scheme,
in the Informatics theme.

Applicants must hold (or obtain by October 2006) a First Class or an
Upper Second Class degree
(or equivalent overseas qualification) in mathematics, statistics or
computing. The studentship
is only open to UK/EU candidates.
