Our client is one of the largest and leading, global market research
agencies. They are looking for a senior Statistician to join their
specialist healthcare division whose services include specialised
qualitative and quantitative research techniques and databases.

The successful Statistician will have a background that includes Masters/
PhD. in a quantitative discipline (economics, psychology, sociology,
statistics or business, with significant coursework in statistics,
econometrics). You will also have a minimum 3 yrs experience working in an
advanced methods group in a commercial market or survey research company OR
experience teaching quantitative methods as a university faculty member
(assistant professor or higher) This must also include personal experience
of conjoint/discrete choice modelling and pricing research.

The scope of this position includes providing leadership in terms of best
practice in research and advanced methods disciplines spanning both domestic
and international projects, using advanced statistical methods.  This
position also involves client contact - internal and external. It is
expected that you are fully conversant in the following:
" choice modelling
" conjoint analysis
" experimental design
" hierarchical Bayes
" perceptual mapping and multidimensional scaling
" factor analysis
" regression and discriminant analysis
" cluster analysis
" CHAID and CART
" categorical data analysis

Statistical Consultant
West Yorkshire
Salary: To £35,000

Our Leeds based client is market research agency who is looking for a
Statistics guru to join them.

You MUST be able to use statistical research methods, data mining tools and
econometric modelling.  This is a diverse position which involves analysing
research, economic data, sales and marketing data in a wide range of
industries.

The successful statistical consultant will also have a flare for new
business development; excellent client handling skills are ESSENTIAL, as is
an extensive commercial grounding using advanced analytical techniques in
either a secondary or primary research context.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience working in a
commercial research context using advanced analytical techniques. You will
also have a proven track record client handling and will be able provide
evidence of where you have grown the business of those clients.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to an individual with the

Statistcian

agency. Having experienced substantial growth, the data analysis team is now
looking for an experienced statistician to work alongside the research team
on various client assignments.  You should have a related degree and ideally
a PhD or Masters plus about 3 years experience working in an commercial
environment.  You will have experience of a variety of methods and you will
also be highly computer literate with skills in excel and statistical
software.  Experience in mentoring junior team members, dealing with clients
and providing advice on methodologies is useful.  This is a great
