The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is the
government agency which is responsible for ensuring that medicines and
medical devices work, and are acceptably safe.
The MHRA is pleased to host a one-day event 'Drug Safety and Public
Health: Launch of MHRA Commissioned Studies on Drug Safety'. This
meeting is to discuss some of the important current challenges in
pharmacoepidemiology and to introduce the proposed collaborative
pharmacoepidemiology initiative between the MHRA and academia.
