JOB TITLE:  STATISTICS MANAGER - FW 10598

LOCATION: UK Midlands / Warwick / Warwickshire

SUMMARY OF ROLE:   A Statistical managerial role , you will be responsible 
for supervising analysis and consultancy work within the Statistical 
Consultancy team. Reporting to the Head of the Department, the successful 
candidate will have a proactive role in both conducting and growing the 
statistical consultancy service. The successful candidate will be one of a 
team of 7 statisticians who have a pro-active role in both conducting and 
developing statistical analysis within the company to meet our client's 
needs.

CLIENT INFORMATION: A leading and innovative global market research 
agency, specialising in helping clients maximise their brand performance, 
health and equity.  They optimise company's media, advertising, PR and 
other communications to their fullest potential.  Currently running over 
1,000 Advanced Tracking Programs (ATPs), they have conducted over 30,000 
Link copytests, completed more than 11,000 brand dynamics projects and 
modelled over 450 brand sales.  Their web-based projects run into

JOB ROLE:  The principal responsibilities of the Statistics Manager will 
be as follows:
Ø To ensure the smooth running all internal and external client's 
analytical needs 
Ø To work closely with our client facing teams to provide high added 
value service to their clients
Ø To provide clear direction and support for staff for which he/she 
will be responsible for
Ø To direct and develop new analytical approaches  that will solve 
company goals and promote them within the company
Ø To keep up to date with the company's methodologies and R&D 
initiatives and communicate them externally
Ø To train our client facing executives in statistics within the 
graduate training scheme 
Ø To resolve problems

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  
ü Graduate in Statistics or similar degree with greater than 50% 
statistical context
ü Minimum 5+ years statistical commercial experience, preferably 
with a consultancy or marketing background 
ü Familiarity with a variety of multivariate statistical techniques 
and statistical and data manipulation software packages 

Skills: 
ü Ability to produce high quality work under pressure
ü Some experience of managing junior staff would be helpful
ü Strong communication skills are essential with the ability to 
liaise and build relationships with both internal and external clients
ü Excellent verbal and written communication skills
