SUMMARY OF ROLE: Principal Methodologist required for global market
research and consulting agency, to act as second in command in a group of
5 market research statisticians. The role involves market data analysis,
training team members and dealing with clients. Graduate in a numerate
discipline needed with about 4-6 years of statistical experience, at least
half of which should be in a market research environment.

JOB ROLE: You will be primarily responsible for:
· Demonstrating and applying knowledge and expertise across the
whole spectrum of statistical analysis
· Managing most market research analysis projects
· Preparing for and conducting statistical analysis
· Liasing with data processing and research personnel
· Explaining the results of the market analysis and recommending
further analysis as required
· Assisting in the development and application of innovative,
advanced research techniques
· Training internal sales staff and market researchers and mentoring
staff as appropriate
· Contributing to business development by attending client meetings,
researching design and inputting into proposals
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
ü Degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Psychology or
related discipline
ü 4-6+ years' statistical experience
ü 2-4 years' market research agency experience
ü Familiarity and experience of SPSS , additional knowledge of SAS, S+ and
R is useful
ü Ability or willingness to learn and contribute to the production of high-
quality solutions to our client's business problems
ü Strong communication skills
ü Ability to effectively convey technical issues to a non-technical
audience
ü Ability to work effectively in a project team environment
