SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT and
DETAILS OF FUNDING FOR PHD STUDENTs
The Centre for Research in Statistical Methodology (CRiSM) at the University
of Warwick will be organising a workshop on "Bayesian Inference in Complex
Stochastic Systems" from May 28-30. The workshop is endorsed
by the International Society for Bayesian Analysis and co-sponsored by the
Royal Statistical Society.
The conference will cover a wide range of areas including: Model Selection,
Nonlinear Regression, Spatio-Temporal Modelling, Genomics and Epidemiology.
The keynote speakers are:
Jim Berger (ISDS, Duke University)
Alan Gelfand (ISDS, Duke University)
Ed George (The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania)
Peter Muller (MD Anderson Cancer Centre, University of Texas)
Jon Wakefield (Department of Biostatistics, University of Washington)
There will also be 15 invited speakers, a poster session and an afternoon

DETAILS OF FUNDING FOR PHD STUDENTS
CRiSM in association with the Royal Statistical Society is pleased to
announce that there is limited funding available for PhD students to cover
fees, travel and accommodation. Applicants should send the title and
