Clinical Genomics Statistician

Job Description
Within interdisciplinary teams, the candidate will be responsible for
providing guidance and expertise for the statistical analysis and
reporting of various exploratory clinical and non-clinical projects based
on genomic, proteomic and metabonomic data. The candidate will play a
critical role in the identification, development and implementation of
innovative statistical methodologies in the field of clinical genomic and
its application to drug development. In collaboration with research and
development teams, the candidate will contribute to biomarker
identification strategies based on experiments and clinical exploration,
for early identification to clinical confirmation and planning for
validation and diagnostic application.
This is a permanent position.
Minimum requirements
PhD in Biostatistics/Statistics with at least three years of postdoc or
equivalent work experience. A strong background in the statistical
analysis of genomic and proteomic data, and familiarity with multivariate
data analyses. Relevant experience in clinical research/epidemiology.
Familiar with clinical statistics and understanding of the development
process. Willing to take responsibility and accountability. Interest in
the development of innovative approaches in biostatistics. Able to provide
clear guidance and documentation for projects and enjoying team work.
Capacity to establish strong contacts with other statistical groups
(Clinical, Preclinical, Modeling).
