ASC/MRS Technology & Social Event
Time: 6pm, Tuesday 16 January 2007

The next ASC/MRS social evening will consist of a debate by two industry
luminaries on the motion:
"This house deplores the rise of DIY research software that, in the wrong hands,
damages the professional market research industry."
Proposing the motion will be Greg Smith, Ipsos MORI, a professional market
researcher with many years industry experience, including the introduction
of new and innovative technologies to some of the major UK research
companies.
Opposing the motion will be Peter Wills, founder and CEO of Snap Surveys, one of
the most popular DIY software packages with over 25,000 customers in 40 countries.
Places are strictly limited due to the size of the venue and you must reserve
your place in advance by e-mailing Sue Taylor ([log in to unmask]).
The event is open to ASC members, MRS members and those who work at MRS Company
Partner organisations. If you do not fall into one of these categories you may
attend the first meeting at no charge, but will need to satisfy our membership
requirements to attend future events.
