Applications are invited for a Research Associate to work with Professor
Andrew Walden. The aim of the research project is to build reliable
multivariate time series graphical models for the analysis of brain
connectivity in schizophrenia sufferers. The project is funded by the EPSRC.
You should have a PhD, or be near to finishing a PhD, in statistics,
statistical signal processing, or an allied subject, with a strong
background in time series analysis or statistical signal processing, ideally
including frequency domain techniques. A high degree of self-motivation and
independence will be required.
Starting salary will be on the Research and Education Scale, Level B, in the
range £26,520-£30,330 per annum (including London Weighting), depending on
qualifications. The position is available from 01 January 2007 and will last
maximally for 30 months.
