Hello all,
I'm researching statistical methods for immunological correlates of
protection and am looking for references for two papers/methods which I
saw once but now can't track down.
One is known as the 'two sticks' approach, and if I recall correctly
fits separate linear regressions to two groups - e.g. vaccinees and
non-vaccinees; the intersection perhaps indicates the protective level
of the assay.
The other - possibly published about 5 years ago - compares two normal
distributions approximating the distributions of the assay values; this
may be similar to the method used for Prevnar in Jodar (Vaccine
21:3265).
If anyone could provide leads on these it would be much appreciated.
