At Bedfordshire, we think it's important to learn as much as we can about our communities in order to inform our planning, prioritisation, and delivery. That's why we've created a new team to develop community intelligence in subjects such as population, the economy, household income, and pupil performance.
You will help us establish an excellent intelligence function, providing expert advice on statistical and research standards and implementing the web and GIS based dissemination of intelligence. Using your strategic information analysis skills, you'll transform the products we offer into agenda-setting evidence for policy making.
Your ability to develop high quality intelligence about Bedfordshire will be complemented by the dynamism and influence to create a culture of informed self-service among local users of research and statistics. Alongside a relevant degree, you will need substantial professional knowledge of statistics or research.
