Senior Medical Statistician/Medical Statistician

Applicants are invited for this new position which provides an excellent prospect for an enthusiastic medical statistician to enhance their skills within medical research. S/he will join an energetic multiprofessional international group of academics, statisticians and clinicians in developing and conducting health care trials, longitudinal and quasi-experimental studies in palliative and supportive care.
The senior medical statistician will develop methods and analyse data in longitudinal and experimental studies, exploring ways to handle missing data and attrition and compare and test methods to identify the core components of outcome and assessment measures. S/he will keep abreast with developments in the field and share these with colleagues in the department and collaborative, and will have a small teaching load. Peer support and personal development is expected.
Grade IA/II (depending on experience) starting at £29,585 - £34,535.
