The College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University invites
applications for tenure track positions
for a newly created Department of Statistics. Up to four appointments
at all levels are anticipated
during the next three years. Applicants are expected to have an
active research program, a strong
interest in interdisciplinary collaborations, and a commitment to
teaching excellence. A Ph.D. in
statistics or a related field is required.
Interested senior faculty will certainly be considered.
The Department of Statistics is expected to ultimately grow to ten
faculty members plus several
affiliated faculty from other University departments who have a
strong background in applied statistics.
The Department will offer a Bachelors in Statistics and Masters in
Applied Statistics.
A Ph.D. in Statistics will also be developed. The Department is
responsible for the Indiana
Statistical Consulting Center.
