As a project statistician you will take responsibility for all
statistical aspects of high-profile clinical development projects. On
project level this includes development of strategies for clinical
development plans with the clinical team and interaction with
clinical/statistical experts both internally and externally. On study
level this includes maintaining consistency across the project and
providing objective interpretation of results and defence of statistical
decisions to clinical team, Life Cycle Team and regulatory health
authorities. You will also be responsible for workflow and planning and
monitoring resources. We also need your expertise to play a key role in
the development of new standards, policies and procedures that will
maintain our global leadership in statistical methodology.
As a senior statistician you will support or deputise for a project
statistician on project level activities. On study level your
responsibilities include protocol contributions, case report form
definition, writing statistical analysis plans, helping to maintain
consistency across the project and finally conducting analyses and
providing objective interpretation of results.
We are looking for individuals with: MSc (or equivalent) or PhD in
Statistics or very similar area, Pharmaceutical industry experience in
Biostatistics and clinical drug development, who are comfortable with
computers, can readily learn new software applications, and have
experience in using statistical software (particularly SAS) as well as
knowledge of database and interface systems.
